A fire broke out at Mada Nonwovens’ polyester factory in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, Thursday night. The blaze was first battled by the company’s internal response team and local fire departments were soonafter on the scene.
 
An initial survey of the damage shows that the warehouse, raw material supply and production lines were affected but no casualties are reported. The company has halted production at the site pending further analysis.
